On April 26, the NJLA Public Relations Committee, MentorNJ and LibraryLinkNJ celebrated the many amazing libraries and staff that participated in this year’s Snapshot Month campaign.
The program, “Making the Most of Your Media,” presented by Carolann DeMatos and Cory Snearowski of SCLSNJ:
- Examined the importance of strategic planning and communication for media promotions;
- Explored the basics of filmmaking for all budgets;
- Produced picture perfect imagery;
- Shared how to be comfortable on camera;
- Analyzed mistakes we’ve made (so you don’t have to!);
- Reviewed (free!) assets you may be missing.
Following the presentation, NJLA’s PR Committee shared highlights from Snapshot Month 2022, showcasing the creative, inspiring, and engaging submissions that gave us all a glimpse into the best of what New Jersey libraries offer!
