A Visit from Lewis and Clark - Saturday, Jul. 30, Toms River Library

Captains Meriwether Lewis and William Clark, the leaders of the Corps of Discovery will pay a visit to the Toms River Branch of the Ocean County Library, Toms River on , July 30 at 2 p.m.

In 1803 Captains Lewis and Clark were commissioned by President Thomas Jefferson to explore the Louisiana territory and find a water route to the Pacific Ocean.
