Paws for People gets first therapy cat

Buttons is a just a tiny, 10-month-old, black and white kitten, but she’s been helping kids throughout the county for the past three months.

As the first Paws for People therapy cat in New Jersey, Buttons has been traveling with her owner, Sharon Bednar — the New Jersey Coordinator for the organization — to local libraries, helping children strengthen their reading skills.
